Norman Breslow has the distinction of having done substantial research into SM (and SM culture) at a time when the topic was largely being ignored by the rest of academia. His work has been published in the journals Archives of Sexual Behavior, Journal of Homosexuality, Psychological Reports, and Journal of Social Behavior and Personality. For the sake of those with an interest in history, Mr. Breslow gave us permission to host this archive of some of his research.
